Tuesday, July 18

"¢At 5:03 p.m., Jonathan Lee Stark, 26, of Dakota, reported multiple dents in his car.

Wednesday, July 19

"¢At 10:00 a.m., Mary Elizabeth Hartman, 21, of Winona, reported that two of her checks had been stolen, forged, and used at the Mankato Avenue Kwik Trip. The missing checks totaled $32.84.

Thursday, July 20

"¢At 5:32 p.m., Joseph Biegel of Winona reported the theft of a blue Raleigh mountain bike from his West Fourth Street residence. The bike is valued at $300.

"¢At 6:08 p.m., Darla Sorenson reported the theft of a women's Giant mountain bike from her Orrin Street residence.

Tuesday, July 18

"¢At 11:37 p.m., police charged Gabriel David Bebout, 24, of Winona, with fourth degree driving while intoxicated and speeding. HIs breath alcohol content was .11 percent. A passenger in Bebout's car, Michelle Mae Kleiboer, 19, of La Crescent, was ticketed for minor consumption.

Wednesday, July 19

"¢At 9:25 a.m., police responded to an accident between Daniel Michalowski, 35, of Winona, and Jessica Hawthorne, 20, of Winona. Michalowski, while driving eastbound on Sixth Street, attempted to make a left hand turn in front of the eastbound Hawthorne. Hawthorne's car collided with Michalowski's motorcycle, causing him minor foot and ankle injuries. He was taken to Community Memorial Hospital, treated, released, and subsequently arrested for the following charges: second degree driving while intoxicated, second degree test refusal, failure to yield, intent to escape motor vehicle tax, no insurance, revoked license plates, and driving after cancellation.

Monday, July 17

"¢At 10:27 p.m., police charged Ricky Gale Orr, 27, of Winona, with domestic assault and damage to property after he allegedly punched his girlfriend multiple times, slapped her, and smashed a wall photo over her head. Orr also allegedly slashed the victim's tires.

Wednesday, July 19

"¢At 1:55 a.m., police ticketed Ashley Lynn Stolpa, 20, of Winona, for violation of a limited license. A passenger in Stolpa's car, Eddie LaMorris Jones, 21, of Winona, was arrested and jailed on a gross misdemeanor false name and date of birth charge.
