Awesome fishing on the Root River (07/30/2006)

Jake Benson caught this beautiful trout on the Root River near his home in Rushford. The rainbow was 26 inches long and weighed a whopping 7.6 pounds. Although he didn't reveal his secret fishing spot, Benson said he was excited to show how awesome fishing can be on the Root River.
