CHANGES TO ADULT TOUCH FOOTBALL ROSTERS
The deadline to turn in your rosters has now passed. Special Note: You may add or delete from your roster any time before October 2, 2006. After this date no additions or deletions are allowed. Only individuals listed on your league roster will be allowed to participate. Any additions or deletions must be made at the Park & Rec. Office.
ADULT TOUCH FOOTBALL RULE OF THE WEEK
There are two areas designated on the same side of the playing field with one team designated between each 15 to 35 yard line on each end of the field. Teams must remain in their designated area through out the entire game. Players may not needlessly walk along the sideline outside of their designated area. Penalty: Loss of 5 yards enforced immediately when detected. (Officials please enforce this rule-no warnings!)
MEN'S & WOMEN'S ADULT BASKETBALL REGISTRATION
Registration will be opening soon for the Men's & Women's Adult Basketball Leagues, so keep an eye open for the details in the next few weeks. We will be sending specific information out to all of last years managers, any managers who do not receive the information or any new teams interested should stop in or call the Park & Rec. Office in a few weeks to pick up the information. If you are no longer the manager, please pass all materials on to this year's manager. If you have any questions, please call the Park & Rec. Office at 457-8258.
WINONA ART ACADEMY
The Winona Art Academy welcomes adults and youth 10 years old and up, who are committed to participation in exceptional art classes. Adult classes consist of Painting, Hand Building with Ceramics, Drawing, Drama and Acting Techniques. Youth classes consist of Painting and Drama. Programs begin in October and run through April, registration deadline October 1st. Scholarships available. For more information visit the Park & Rec.
