Congratulations to Steve Laska and Darlene Schwartz on their accomplishments in bowling. Both Steve and Darlene received trophies for their excellent bowling skills in the WAPS Community Education's Project COMPASS Bowling Club. Both winners were very excited to receive their trophy. Steve said that he likes bowling and is happy that his mother and friends will get to see him in the paper with his trophy. Darlene told us that she is excited about her trophy and that she will put it in her room as soon as she gets home. Many thanks go out to Muzzy Cross, owner of First Place Trophies, for these wonderful trophy donations.
The Project COMPASS Bowling Club utilized the lanes of Westgate Bowl's handicapped accessible alley, where bumpers and ramps are available. Project COMPASS helps to promote life enrichment for individuals with and without disabilities, through personal growth, education, fitness, recreation and life skills opportunities.
