The softball leagues are beginning to wind down. Managers, as you win either your league and/or playoffs, please stop in the Park Recreation Office to pick up your trophies before you forget. Congratulations on a good season-see you next year!

THOSE WHO MISSED THE ADULT CO. REC. VOLLEYBALL MANAGERS ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

All team managers who did not attend the organizational meeting on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 should come down to the Recreation Office in City Hall and pick up your volleyball packet. The season starts Wednesday, September 3rd and Monday, September 8. It is very important to get this information distributed to your team members so they aren't calling our office to find out when they play. Any further questions, please contact our Recreation Office 457-8258.

ADULT PARK REC. VOLLEYBALL OFFICIALS WHO MISSED THE OFFICIAL'S MEETING MONDAY NIGHT

All Park Rec. officials who did not attend the official's meeting on Tuesday, August 26, 2003, to come down to the Recreation Office in City Hall and pick up your officiating packet and fill out your personal action forms. ADULT CO. REC. VOLLEYBALL RULE OF THE WEEK

A team consists of six players, three of which should be female and three males. You may play with more women than men, but not with more men than women. You are allowed to play with as few as four players; however at least one player must be a male.

ADULT TOUCH FOOTBALL AND CO. REC VOLLEYBALL ROSTERS

Your official rosters are due prior to your second scheduled game. There are no excuses for not having your rosters turned in on time, so please do so. Teams will forfeit if rosters are not in on time and not allowed to play until they are in.

ADULT TOUCH FOOTBALL

We held the Adult Touch Football organizational meeting; currently we have 3 teams registered and need 4 teams to have a league. If you have expressed interest, please turn in your registration form immediately. We anticipate playing on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Gabrych Park, 7 & 8 p.m. We would begin the league on September 9th and go until the State Tournaments in Bloomington, Dred Scott Fields, October 18th and 19th. State Tournament allocation information will be sent to managers as soon as we receive the information. Anyone interested in watching some good local football talent, stop at Gabrych Park and watch a game or two. Players, remember, this is a recreational league-not a "blood and guts" league. Respect the playing facility and the officials. If you think officiating is so easy and fun-we've got room for officials!!! Note: Any manager not attending the meetings, please stop by our office ASAP to pick up the materials. (Officials need to do the same to pick up their packets and materials and fill out personnel action forms. Any questions, call our office 457-8258. Special note: we will notify managers, officials and supervisors, if we do not get enough teams to form a league.
