Minnesota state park visitors who wish to make camping or lodging reservations will need to wait until Feb. 12. The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Division of Parks and Recreation announced today that due to system upgrades being made to their reservation service, the call center (866-85PARKS) and online reservation service (www.stayatmnparks.com) will be unavailable from Feb. 4-11. The reservation service is used to reserve campsites, camper cabins, guesthouses, cabins and group camps at state parks across Minnesota.
The reservation centers will close beginning 8 p.m. CST on Sunday, Feb. 4. Both the phone center and online reservation service will reopen for business at 8 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 12. No reservations will be taken during this time, ensuring all park guests will have an equal opportunity to reserve campsites and other accommodations when the reservation centers reopen.
Visitors who have questions can call toll-free 1-866-672-8183, Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., or contact the park directly. Park phone numbers and contact information are available on the DNR Web site at www.mnstateparks.info.
