Justice Pomeroy improved his record to 2-0 with an impressive performance over Alan Lutz of the St. Croix Boxing Club. Pomeroy boxes at 103 pounds, and shows great potential for future bouts.
Jake Walther, 135 pounds, outboxed White Bear Lake's Dustin Mason, a top-ranked boxer in the nation in the Amateur Division. A controversial decision that was given to Mason promptly initiated a possible rematch in Caledonia, Minn., this weekend in a non-tournament match to be held in conjunction with the Region 2 Golden Gloves State Tournament.
These fights were held at the Medina Entertainment Center in Plymouth, Minn., on March 11.
