Calling all volunteers! On Saturday, April 28th from 10am-1pm we invite anyone who is interested in helping cleanup one of our most beautiful wildlife areas by participating in a highway cleanup. Earth Day and Arbor Day are here and this is a great chance to celebrate those events and enjoy the fresh spring air.
We also need help trimming around trees in our bottomland forest restoration area. For all your hard work we will provide you with a free native starter tree to take home and plant! We ask that you wear long sleeves and pants as the area is somewhat brushy. All equipment will be provided. We will gather at the River Bottoms parking lot at 10:00am and will work until 1:00pm.
