Camp We-No-Nah volunteer opportunities (04/22/2007)
If you are a seventh through twelfth grader and are looking to volunteer to help build a resume or serve as a future job reference, then Camp We-No-Nah is looking for you! Camp We-No-Nah's Junior Counselor/Counselor-In-Training program gives youth the opportunity to serve in an important leadership role at camp. There are nine weeks of camp to choose from and you may sign up for 1-3 weeks of service. In return, you are able to share in the entire camp experience, while strengthening leadership techniques, group work skills, and camping methods. Seventh graders may only participate during Preschool Camp week. Applications for the YMCA Camp WE-No-Nah Junior Counselor/Counselor-In-Training program are available now at the Winona Family YMCA, 207 Winona Street. The application deadline is Friday, May 18, 2007.
