Children’s garden program will again be held (05/02/2007)

The Women's Resource Center, in collaboration with Master Gardeners of Winona and the Land Stewardship Community Garden, is pleased to announce that it will once again hold a Summer Garden Program for Kids. The garden project will begin June 4, and run through August 20. Participants will meet every Monday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Redeemer-Land Stewardship Garden located behind Redeemer Lutheran Church on Kraemer Drive. Children ages 5-15 are welcome to come and learn about gardening, the life cycle, and have the chance to plant their very own garden. Parental permission is required. Space is limited, so call and sign up your children today! Volunteers to help with the garden are also needed. For more information call Eryn at the Women's Resource Center at 452-4440.
