Anglers can fish Fort McCoy waters for free during the "free fishing weekend" from Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3.
During these two days, anglers can fish in Fort McCoy waters without having to purchase state licenses or Fort McCoy permits. Anglers must, however, follow installation guidelines as listed in the Fort McCoy Fishing Regulation. These can be obtained on the Fort McCoy Web site or at locations where Fort McCoy Fishing Permits are sold.
