Special meeting
May 9, 2007
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Weimerskirch at 4:00 p.m.
Upon Roll Call: Mayor J.P. Weimerskirch, Councilmembers Dick Ledebuhr, Leon Bowman, and Bruce Brinkman were present. Councilmember Charlie Andring was absent.
The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
The Mayor asked if each of the Councilmembers had an opportunity to meet with Denny Ellefson to review the proposal. Councilmember Brinkman clarified his position to approve of the request, but just wanted to make sure it was in writing so the City's responsibility was clear. Councilmember Bowman did point out the easement in question will be maintained by the individual homeowners, but maybe it would be in the best interest of the City to abandon the current easement, then re-locate it so it still exists. Councilmember Ledebuhr moved and Councilmember Bowman seconded to abandon the original easement in question, and re-locate it per a revised plot plan to be presented by Mr. Ellefson to the City at a later date. All voted aye, motion carried.
