YOUTH AND ADULT TENNIS
Youth tennis program consists of different age and ability levels, ages 6 and above. Adult tennis program has Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced levels running June 12-July 5, beginner on Tuesday and Thursday nights and Intermediate/Advanced running on Monday and Wednesday nights. INTO & ADVANCED DIVING
Introductory diving is designed for participants with little or no previous diving experience. This program is an introduction to springboard diving with progressive skill development. In the advanced diving the novice level skills will be reviewed and more advanced skills will be introduced. To register for the programs, stop in at the Park & Rec. office.
EXPLORER CAMP
This program is for kids entering Grades 3, 4 or 5. Lakes, bluffs, nature and fun are all destinations to be reached by campers who journey through a week in our Explorer Camps. Camp programs we have are Canoeing/Kayaking/Fishing, Exploring the Bluffs, Airplanes and Rockets and Sports/Games. Different programs running June through August. To register for the programs, stop in at the Park & Rec. office.
EZ CAMP
This program is for kids entering Kindergarten, 1 or 2nd grade. New adventures wait everyday! Campers will explorer through games, activities and adventures. Appreciation of arts, science, nature, our world, and our community are all important components of EZ Camp. Different programs running June through August. To register for the programs, stop in at the Park & Rec. office.
BOB WELCH AQUATIC CENTER
The tentative opening for the Aquatic Center is schedule for Monday, June 4, 2007. Open hours will be noon to 7 p.m. If you have not purchased your yearly membership by now, do so by going to the Park & Recreation Department.
CITY HALL OFFICE HOURS
All City Hall office hours from September 5th to May 30th (Memorial Day) are open to the public from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday only.
4.8 SKATE PARK-OPEN
The Skate Park is open for the season. The hours during the school year are Monday through Friday, 3-9 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday 1-9 p.m. and Summer hours are 1-9 p.m. daily. There are no age requirements. Helmets are strongly recommended while all other safety equipment are also recommended such as knee/elbow pads, appropriate footwear and shirts. Skateboards, rollerblades and BMX bikes are allowed. The park is free and open to everyone. Specific rules are posted at the park along with other important information. Please be respectful of the Skate Park, Supervisors and each other. Check out the upgraded "Spine"-the kids say it's great. Contact the East Rec. Center at 453-1633 for rain cancellation information for the Skate Park. Come enjoy the Park and check out the changes.
ADULT SOFTBALL LOCAL RULE OF THE WEEK
When a home run is hit over the fence all runners on base and the person hitting the home run must run the base in all our Winona Park & Recreation Leagues.
