Fossil Collecting Trip

Are you interested in finding fossils that are 400-500 million years old? Meet at the Houston Nature Center to learn some things about the fossils in this area, then we'll carpool to some state forest land near the bike trail bridge between Houston and Rushford. (If you want to ride your bike, plan to meet us at the bike trail bridge around 7:30 PM.) Be prepared to walk close to half a mile, including a short distance through some tall weeds to get to the site. We might also find Native American artifacts at this site too, but they cannot be collected according to state law. But you can keep the fossils you find!
