Winona State University's Outreach and Continuing Education and the Center for Integrated Health Science Education and Practice (CIHSEP) announce the "First Annual Lean Health Care Conference," July 24-25, at the Kahler Grand Hotel in Rochester, Minn.
Lean stands for Leadership-Eliminate Waste-Act Now-Never Ending. It is grounded in the Toyota Production System of quality improvement.
The conference is an opportunity to network with healthcare professionals who have implemented or are considering implementing LEAN into their hospital, long-term care facility, clinic or private practice.
The cost of the conference is $130. If three or more individuals register from the same organization, the fee is $120. Rooms are available at the Kahler Grand Hotel at a special conference rate.
