Owl Pellet Dissection
7:00 PM Saturday, July 7
Houston Nature Center
What do owls in southeast Minnesota eat? Pick apart an owl pellet to find out! We will use skulls from the nature center and pictures of bones to identify what's in these wild owl pellets. Alice the Great Horned Owl will contribute pellets if there aren't enough wild owl pellets to go around.
This program is free and open to the public. The Houston Nature Center is located one block north of the intersection of Hwys 16 & 76 in Houston in Trailhead Park. Contact the Houston Nature Center at 507-896-4668 or nature@acegroup.cc to reserve a pellet or for more information.
