Eat wild edible foods with Monique

7:00 PM, Saturday, July 14

Join European-trained chef Monique Hooker to learn how to make our local wild edible foods into mouth-watering delicacies! Monique will help you learn to identify some edible wild plants that are in season (like nettles, sorrel, dock and others), demonstrate cooking techniques, and you'll even get to taste the finished products, which could include an extravagant array of stir fry, pizza, beignets and crepes.

Besides having worked alongside famous east-coast chefs, Monique has also hosted a cooking show and operated a cooking school. She also has written a wonderful book, "Cooking with the Seasons." You'll find her personality positively de
