We will be playing several rounds of bingo with one lucky winner for a FREE canoe rental!

We will be having a discussion followed by a short hike to view several of our mounds located in the park.

We will be making our very own bird watcher books and then try to find some birds of our own!

We will be making pinecone bird feeders to take home or hang up at your campsite!

Black Walnut Nature Trail Hike
**Meet at Black Walnut Trail Entrance**
Take a short hike for a closer look at how past cultures used things in nature to help them survive the elements.

Invasive Species
We will be discussing our current invasive species problems, exploring the reasons for the firewood bans, and watching a short video created by the Mississippi Valley Conservancy that further explains what invasive species are and what to do if you encounter them.

Universe in the Park
Join local experts from the UW-Madison Astronomy Department to take a closer look at what's what in our universe. They will have a slide show presentation followed by a viewing session using their telescope!
