C-FC to host silent auction (09/23/2007)

Cochrane-Fountain City High School will be hosting its second annual Silent Auction on Friday, September 28, starting at 4 p.m. and ending at the seven minute mark of the third quarter of the football game. Up for bid are numerous specialty baskets, quilts, homemade bars and cookies. Some of the bigger items that will be auctioned off include an 8'x12' garden shed, poker set, handcrafted picture frames, and gun racks. This event will be held in conjunction with the homecoming events. The auction is sponsored by the Future Business Leaders of America. Individuals or businesses who would like to contribute, may call the school at 608-687-4391, ext. 262. Donations will be accepted through Monday, September 24. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the flood victims.
