The Winona County Red Cross will be hosting a Family Health and Safety Day on May 17, at the Winona Mall from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The event is designed to introduce the community to organizations dedicated to providing health and safety services in Winona. These services help to create an environment that is beneficial to all members of the community, especially families.
A variety of organizations will be participating in the event, including the Winona Police Department, Fire Department, Sheriffs Department and Winona Ambulance. Guests will be given the opportunity to tour emergency vehicles and meet with emergency response officials from the community.
There will be breakout sessions beginning at 9:30 a.m. that are intended to inform community members about family health and safety, as well as programs designed specifically for children. The organizations that will be offering these informative sessions will be Grace Place, Winona Health, Baby Connections and Cone Chiropractic.
Come join us for family fun. The event is free and open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
