Three Centerville Junior Teams traveled to Duluth this weekend and came home with trophies as they competed in The Bert Payne Junior Bonspiel. The Tom Brozic Sportsmanship Award went to the John Lilla Rink with Zak Vietenan, third; Christopher Meunier, second; and Dusty Barilani, lead.
The Cam Delaney Rink with Dan Lilla, fourth; Cam throwing third; Chris Kramer, second; and Katie Dassow, lead won the Second Event in the Competitive Division. Delaney met the Trolson team from Superior in the finals.
In the Developing Division, the Matt Collum Rink with Tyler Vietenan, Vice Skip; Jake Peplinski, second; and A.J. Thew, lead; took Second Place in the Second Event.
Forty-Two Teams from Canada and the US competed in the event.
