This week you may be one of many owners who will have to put in a line-up without your fantasy workhorse. Guys like Adrian Peterson, Brandon Marshall, Greg Jennings and Matt Forte will be getting the week off.
Let’s take a look at a few players that will be working this weekend.
Thomas Jones has been fairly hot as of late; 159 yard rushing performances against Oakland last week and 3 touchdowns the week before. This week he gets to play a Chiefs team that is dead last defending the run. Getting the yardage and the scores shouldn’t be a problem for him this week.
On the flip side, Eli Manning, despite his hot start, has come back down to earth a bit the last few weeks. Not only has he not gone over the 200 yard mark but he has thrown only one touchdown in each game.
This week he will be on the road to take on the team with the number one pass defense; Pittsburgh. His numbers will not improve and there are better options.
