Not too long ago, Larry Johnson and Braylon Edwards were the toast of fantasy players everywhere. Both played in high scoring offenses and would post huge numbers nearly every week. Now, you are lucky if you can use either in your line-up.
LJís season looked all but over just eight weeks ago; he was part of a then horrible offense and was pouring drinks on women in nightclubs on his way to Roger Goodellís office.
Now, after a solid performance against the Raiders last week (92 yards and a TD), you should feel safe putting him into your line-up this week against Denver. Not only are the Broncos the 28th ranked rushing defense but Larry torched them earlier this year for 198 yards and two touchdowns.
Iím not sure you can expect the same output but he should see at least a buck twenty five and one trip to the promise land.
Braylon Edwards came into the season as one of the most sought after wide receivers. Other than one decent game, it is safe to say that the man is a bonafide bust.
This week, not only will he be dropping balls from a third string quarterback but he will be playing the Tennessee Titans. The Titans are at home, 4th against the pass, and well rested.
I think you can safely stick your fork in Braylon - at least this week.
See you next week.
