Well, well, well, the fantasy playoffs are finally here for most of you. You are another step closer to those coveted bragging rights and/or that nice little chunk of post Christmas cash. But, don’t start counting your chickens quite yet, there is still a little work to do. Here are a few things for you to consider when finalizing your line-up this week.
At first you might be thinking that Drew Brees and company have a pretty tough match-up this Thursday Night against the Bears in the Windy City. But, after a closer look, the Monsters of the Midway aren’t really Monsters at all – especially against the pass.
The 28th ranked Bears passing defense will be ripe for the picking. Brees is a no-brainer but make sure you have Shockey, Bush, Moore and Colston in your line-up.
Next, it would be wise for you to sit down Ben Roethlisberger when he takes on the Ravens this Sunday. The Baltimore defense is only allowing 176 yards and a touchdown per game against opposing quarterbacks which – coincidentally - is darn close to what Big Ben scored the last time he faced them.
Also, offensive fantasy points are going to be few and far between in what should be a low scoring affair. This match-up features the top two defenses in the league.
Good luck and see you next week.
