After last week’s lackluster performance at home against the Vikes, you might be having second thoughts about starting Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin or Larry Fitzgerald when they visit the Patriots this week. Don’t!
The Patriots have a pretty shabby secondary. They are second in the league in passing touchdoa’t to big a factor, make sure you don’t do anything stupid by benching your Cards.
Speaking of passing touchdown allowed, guess who is number one with 31? Well, none other than Arizona. Look for Matt Cassel to further honor his deceased father with another solid game at home in a game with huge playoff implications.
Finally, just for the heck of it, I am gonna throw out a sleeper for you to keep an eye on this weekend.
Look for the Lions Dan Orlovsky to post 250 plus yards to go along with two plus touchdowns versus New Orleans. Heck, you could too if you were desperate, had Calvin Johnson and played a bad Saints secondary.
And if you are wondering whether it will it be enough to get the Kitties into the elusive win column; I can’t answer that. But I hope not. I mean, don’t you think it would be more fitting to see them get the W next week against the Green and Gold?
