Pirate Youth Volleyball (04/08/2009)

Pirate Volleyball 4th/5th Grade Team: (front, L-R): Rainey Radawitz, Sara Bjorge, Kashes Franz, Caily Reps, Brianna Nisbit, Rachel LaDuke; (middle, L-R): Hayley Duellman, Sierra Rodgers, Elizabeth Duellman, Julia Dehnke, Meghan Wenger, Gabby Marcott; (back, L-R): Coach Lynn Duellman, Riley Gabel, Melanie Newton, Stephanie Cox, Kerrigan Lyga, Breah Drazkowski, Kayla Kaczorowski, Kaylie Tollefson, Coach Kalene Engel.
On Saturday, April 4th, two 4th/5th Grade teams of the Pirate Youth Volleyball Program travelled to Elk Mound, Wisconsin to participate in a volleyball tournament through the Wisconsin Independent Volleyball League. Although it was their first tournament of the season (and first volleyball tournament EVER for most players), the girls maintained their composure and played like seasoned veterans. At the end of the day, the Pirate teams compiled an 8-0 match record, winning 22 out of the 23 games they played. Congratulations to the two teams on an outstanding effort.
