At the Growing & Tending Your Forest class, you’ll hear from professional foresters about the many different ways to make the best of your forest better, whether by creating a new forest from agricultural land to regenerating a mature natural forest through harvesting.
This class will begin at the Lewiston-Altura Intermediate School, 325 1st Ave SE, in Altura, on Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 9:00 pm – 12 noon. Credit for the Woodland Advisor Program and continuing education credit for Master Gardeners is provided. There is a $20.00 fee; pre-registration appreciated.
