La Leche League of Winona has cancelled Mom’s Morning Out due to a lack of registrations. Instead, they will hold their traditional garage sale fundraiser on Saturday, May 2 from 7:30-2:00 at 1st Congregational Church, 161 W. Broadway, Winona. The “Everything Baby Extravaganza” will feature gently used infant and kids clothing, toys, and accessories, maternity and nursing apparel, baked goods, plants, and a boutique for special handcrafted items. The sale will also feature free coffee in the early hours, lunch available for sale, and chair massages for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. Donations are being accepted. La Leche League of Winona will not hold their regular series meeting on May 2. The next series meeting will be held on June 6, 2009 from 10:30-12 at 1st Congregational Church, Winona. The topic will be Breastfeeding, A Family Affair.
