WMS orientation scheduled (08/09/2009)

The Winona Middle School will be holding orientation for all students in September. Letters have been sent to all students listing the orientation dates and times. Included with this mailing is a general information sheet as well as an Emergency form to be completed and then returned during orientation. Information can also be found on the WMS website at www.rschooltoday.com/winonamiddle under Student Services. House placement and schedules will be given out during orientation. Please do not request placement information prior to orientation. 5th grade students will also receive information on the 5th Grade Academy with their orientation letter. The Academy will be held the evenings of August 24, 25, and 26. Registration is required. Please call 507-494-1031 no later than August 13th to register.
The Project Science class still has openings! 7th and 8th grade students who are interested in this class may print an application from the website or pick one up in Student Services. Applications should be returned to Student Services by the end of August.
New student registrations are taken Monday - Thursday from 8:00am - 3:00pm. Earlier times are available by appointment.
