Producers can sign up for LIP program (02/02/2011)

Eligible producers who lose livestock due to adverse weather on or after January 1, 2011, and before October 1, 2011, can sign up for the Farm Service Agency’s (FSA) Livestock Indemnity Program (LIP).
Producers need to contact their local FSA County Offices to sign up for LIP. Producers can also learn more about LIP by visiting www.fsa.usda.gov.
