Winona County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors will hold a special board meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, at the Ag Service Center in Lewiston. This meeting is for interviewing the four candidates for the Area V Supervisor position. The Board may vote on the appointment once the interviews are complete.
Harvest House, a non-profit, non-denominational organization for 50 and getting better, will meet Wednesday, February 16, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Stanislaus hall. Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. with Father Paul Breza as celebrant. There will be a business meeting followed by a Valentine party with bingo. Bring an unwrapped prize for bingo and a valentine to exchange. Also remember to bring a non-perishable food item for a needy family and coupons for the military. Lunch will be served.

Minnesota City Community Readers will meet on February 17, at 6:30 p.m. at Riverway Learning Community, 115 Iowa Street, Minnesota City, to discuss Henning Mankell’s Faceless Killers. The detective novel follows the investigations of Kurt Wallander who pursues the murderers of a Swedish farm couple. Mankell is a contemporary award winning Swedish writer.
