ĽAt 11:24 a.m. police responded to a two semi truck accident at Riverview Drive and Theurer Boulevard. A semi driven by Kenneth Harlow Bell, 63, of Humbird, Wis., was turning onto Riverview Drive from Theurer Boulevard and failed to see another semi truck driven by Steven Laurel Larson, 57, and the two collided. Bell was cited for failure to yield. No one was injured.
ĽAt 11:55 a.m. police responded to an accident at Main and Mark streets. A vehicle driven by Mary Patricia Loftness, 70, of Winona, was eastbound on Mark Street, entered the intersection at Main Street and collided with a vehicle driven by James Allan Miller, 63, of Winona. Loftness was cited for failure to yield. No one was injured.
ĽAt 12:26 p.m. police received a report of items stolen from a vehicle parked on the 1750 block of West Fifth Street. Missing was a bottle of prescription medication, and several CDs from inside the car were found outside in the parking lot.
ĽAt 7:06 a.m. police recovered a backpack on the 1000 block of West Fifth Street. Police were able to identify the owner, who lives on the 1100 block of West Sixth Street. She told police the backpack had been taken from her vehicle overnight, and a digital camera was missing.
Friday, April 15
ĽAt 1:09 a.m. police were called to the 350 block of Huff Street where Winona State University security personnel said that a male and female were arguing, the female pulling on the male who was trying to get away. The male, Paul Henry Bense, 20, of St. Peter, Minn., was cited for underaged consumption of alcohol with a blood alcohol content measured at .12 percent. The female, Dana Ellen Schlottman, 19, of Cologne, Minn., was cited for underaged consumption of alcohol with a blood alcohol content measured at .20 percent.
ĽAt 2:46 a.m. police stopped a vehicle on Highway 61 near Vila Street in Winona after observing the driver weave in his lane, traveling 50 mph in a 45 mph zone. The driver, Dean Francis Mlsna, 53, of La Crosse, was cited for driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia after toxicology reports indicated he was under the influence of marijuana at the time.

ĽAt 6:35 p.m. police issued citations to Alyssa Susan Mueller, 32, of Minnesota City, for possession of stolen property and theft of services. Police said she had a trash bin from J & J Rubbish and had not paid her bill. According to police, investigators had looked through the trash bin as part of a drug investigation, and then Mueller claimed she did not have garbage services. Police looked into the matter and found she had allegedly not paid her bill. Police then obtained a search warrant to seize the garbage can as part of the investigation over the alleged possession of the stolen bin.
