WOW!! Tip your hat and say hello, the Great River Shakespeare Festival leaders, actors, and crew are back for another year of Shakespeare presentations. The musical The Fantasticks will also entertain us this season. We have been attending these plays since their first productions seven years ago. They make us laugh, and they make us cry, and sometimes even angry. Passages from the plays are sometimes profound, and give us much food for thought, or sometimes you just have to scratch your head. The actors and actresses give stellar performances. We love having them come to Winona, they have become great friends. If you have not attended a play because you think this entertainment is just for long-hairs, think again. Shakespeare wrote for everyone. We urge all of you out there in Winona, and beyond, to get your tickets soon. They are available at the GRSF office at 507-474-7900. Also, I hope you’ll join us in becoming a member of the Setting the Stage Campaign (grsf.org/setting-the-stage).
