The Catholic Daughters of the Americas will meet at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart on Monday, June 13, for 5:15 p.m. Mass. A catered chicken dinner for $6.00 will follow. Reservations should be called to Mary Donahue 452-3162 by noon June 6th. A meeting will be held after dinner.
The Save Our Fine Arts of Winona will hold its annual meeting at noon on June 14, at Beno’s Restaurant in Winona. Discussion will be held and decisions made on the status of summer vocal camp scholarship funds and resolution of the non-restricted funds in the non-profit organization. The public is invited.
The Winona Flower and Garden Club will meet Tuesday, June 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 210 E. 4th Street, Winona. Master Gardener Lois Ankrum will present a program on container gardening. Guests are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Harvest House, a non-profit, non-denominational organization for 50 and getting better, will hold their monthly meeting Wednesday, June 15, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Stanislaus hall. Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. with Father Paul Breza as celebrant, for those wishing to attend. There will be a business meeting followed by our picnic. Bingo will be played. Bring an unwrapped prize for bingo, coupons for the military and a non-perishable food item for a needy family. Lunch will be served. Winona County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors will hold their regular monthly board meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, at the Ag Service Center in Lewiston.

The Buffalo-Pepin Retired Educators will hold their meeting and luncheon at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, at the Golden Frog in Fountain City. Guest speaker will be Jane Elmer, ex. director of WREA. She will give us an update on the Wis. retirement system. This will be an opportunity to have questions about WRS answered. State and local dues will be collected and scholarship winners announced.
