The regular monthly meeting of the Hiawatha Valley Education District Board of Directors is scheduled for Wednesday, June 22, from 7:30-9:00 p.m. in the library at the Houston High School, 306 West Elm Street, Houston, Minn.
June 28
The Winona Area Crime Stoppers Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, June 28, at Timbers Restaurant in Winona. The meeting begins at 8:00 a.m. and is open to the public.
July 7
The Hiawatha Valley Marines will meet on Thursday, July 7, at 7:00 p.m. at the Winona Area Veterans Center. All Marines and Corpsmen who served with the USMC are encouraged to attend. Agenda items will include plans for the Birthday Dinner, suggestions for the speaker at the dinner, establishment of a committee to assist in the implementation of the Toys for Tots Program, review of the fund raising effort for the Winona Veterans Memorial Park, and finalization of the plans for the Goodview Days Parade and the annual picnic.
