Softball tourney in Winona this weekend (07/24/2011)

Winona Athletic Association is hosting the State Class D Co-Rec Softball Tournament and the State Men’s Church Softball Tournament July 23-24. WAA is a nonprofit organization with volunteers that spend a lot of time hosting and organizing sport events, fund raisers, etc., for the Winona community in trying to raise money to put back into the community and facilities. Two of Winona’s own teams, Curt Kuehn Trucking/Boondock’s Auto Co. Rec and Silo Church team will be participating. Kuehn’s first game is at 9 a.m. Saturday and Silo Church will play at 10:10 a.m. Stop down and support our local teams and stop by the concession stand at Bambenek’s Field #1.
