The Hiawatha Valley Marines will meet on Thursday, August 4, at the Winona Area Veterans Center at 7:00 p.m. All Marines and Corpsmen who served with the USMC are urged to attend. Agenda items will include Identification of the speaker for the USMC birthday dinner, finalization of plans for the Goodview Days Parade and the annual picnic, involvement of spouses/significant others in the HVMs, and the focus of the Hiawatha Valley Marines as a social or community service organization.
Cathedral’s Young At Heart group will meet on August 4, starting with a 12:10 p.m. Mass. The Winona County Soil and Water Conservation District Partnership Relations Committee will meet on Tuesday, August 16, at 1:00 p.m. to continue discussions on the development of a cooperative agreement between the SWCD and the County, focused on a draft outline compiled by the SWCD.
