Winona County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors will hold their regular monthly board meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, at the Ag Service Center in Lewiston.

The Lois Club will meet Tuesday, August 30, at 5:30 p.m. at the Country Kitchen.

Overeater’s Anonymous meets Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. at 1717 Service Drive ( Faith Lutheran Church). Many have found a solution.

Al-Anon Family Group Thursdays, 7-8 p.m., St. Augustine Room, Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 360 Main Street. A 12-step fellowship for families of problem drinkers. 452-4445 for more information.

TOPS MN #263 Winona- New members welcome. Learn how to lose weight  and keep it off. Wednesdays. Weigh-in between 8:00 a.m. - 8:50 a.m. Meeting/program 9:00 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. Callista Court, 1455 W. Broadway.

If you’re hurting after a divorce, you need the Rebuilding Program, open to men and women, not affiliated with any church or religious group. The group meets the first and third Sunday of every month from 6-8 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church, 259 West Wabasha Street, Winona. Addicted?  Be Set Free!  Set Free! is a twelve week program to help you achieve victory over your addicting behaviors.  New members are welcome any time.  We meet weekly at Calvary Baptist Church, 676 W. Sarnia St., Winona,  at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings.  For more information call 452-6850. 

NAMI Connection:  A Mental Illness Support Group meets every Monday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the PSN Building, 122 W. 2nd St., (next to Sammy’s Pizza).  There is no fee, just walk in and join us.  For more information call facilitators Richard Iverson (507) 454-5472, Judy McCormick (507) 459-3475 or Helen Newell at (507) 494-0905. Cosponsored by (NAMI) National Alliance on Mental Illness, Winona Affiliate and Project COMPASS.  

Widowed Persons Service. There will be NO regular meeting in August but there will be a potluck in September. Breakfast group meets every Tuesday  at the Country  Kitchen at 8 a.m. The dinner group will meet on Thursdays (Aug. 4, 11, 25) at Culvers at 5:30 p.m. Special dinner will be Thursday August 18, at the LaCrosse Family Restaurant, 2120 Rose Street, LaCrosse. Carpooling from the Fleet Farm lot next to Perkins. Meet at 4:20 and leave at 4:35 p.m. sharp. Special noon lunch will be Wednesday August 24, at the Golden Harvest Cafe in Utica. Carpooling from the old Econo Foods parking lot. Meet at 10:55 and leave no later than 11:10 a.m. Executive Board meeting will be Tuesday August 16, at 9 a.m.

Mental Illness:  Family to Family Support Group meets the second Monday of the month from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Winona Health - Parkview Conference Room.  The next meeting will be Monday, August 8.  No fee just walk in and join us.  Enter the hospital’s main door, turn right, at the hallway take another right.  It’s the second door on the left.  (Next to the snack room).  For more information call facilitator Cindy Peterson at (507) 312-4482.
