Winona Health’s Occupational Health Department invites area business leaders and Human Resources professionals to Breakfast with the Experts: Recognizing the Use of Street Drugs in the Workplace.
Emergency Department physician Brett Whyte, MD, and Officer Kevin Kearney will share information about illegal drugs such as ‘plant food’ and ‘bath salts,’ which have become a problem in the workplace and in our community. Officer Kearney will talk about signs of drug abuse and how these illegal drugs are used. Dr. Whyte will share information about the seriousness of this issue and about the resources available if someone is using a ‘street drug.’
Breakfast with the Experts, Recognizing the use of Street Drugs in the Workplace will be Friday, October 7, from 7:30 – 9 a.m. in the B. A. Miller Auditorium, third floor of the hospital on the Winona Health campus, 855 Mankato Avenue in Winona.
