Tuesday, September 20

•At 2:34 p.m. police received a report of damage to a screen door at a residence on the 1750 block of West Seventh Street.

Wednesday, September 21

•At 7 p.m. police responded to a report of a vehicle and bicycle accident at Huff and Sarnia streets. A 19-year-old woman from Zumbrota, Minn., told police she was about to head north on Huff Street from the Kwik Trip when a 24-year-old man on a bicycle riding on the sidewalk collided with her vehicle at a blind spot near the dumpsters. The man flipped over her vehicle, told her he wasn’t injured, and left the scene. The woman called police and reported the accident, and police said the man later went to the hospital complaining of injuries. No citations were issued.

•At 3:34 p.m. police received a call reporting a theft from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 1500 block of West Fifth Street. A Garmin GPS valued at $140, an iPod Nano Generation 3 valued at $250, iPod headphones valued at $15, an armband and some change were reported stolen.

Thursday, September 22

•At 6:26 p.m. police responded to a report of shoplifters at MGM Liquor on Menards Road. Cassandra Renee Perry, 28, of Winona, was cited for theft by shoplifting after she allegedly tried stealing a bottle of alcohol valued at $25.99. Amber Jean Patterson, 25, of Winona, was cited for theft by shoplifting after she allegedly tried stealing a bottle of alcohol valued at $19.99.

•At 2:30 a.m. police received a call reporting a bike stolen from the Kwik Trip on South Baker. An 18-year-old man said he went into the store to go to the bathroom and asked the clerk to keep an eye on his black Trek 3700 21-speed men’s mountain bike. The clerk said someone either on drugs or drunk grabbed the bike and rode unsteadily off with it.

Friday, September 23

•At 12:26 a.m. police received a call from Winona State University security reporting an intoxicated man at Maria Hall. Police cited Dominic Daniel Miller, 19, of Winona, for underaged consumption of alcohol with a blood alcohol content measured at .217 percent. He was taken to the hospital.

•At 1:19 a.m. police were called to Huff and Ninth streets on a report of a very intoxicated person. Nana Okyere Agyapong, 18, of Winona, was cited for underaged consumption of alcohol with a blood alcohol content measured at .228 percent and taken to the hospital.

Wednesday, September 21

•At 9:28 a.m. police responded to a report from a person at Whitewater Valley Campground of damage to property and theft. A man reported that someone on the morning of the 12th had unplugged his camper at the power box and cut the cord attaching it to the camper and stolen the cord. The camper believed the suspect wanted the cord for the copper wires inside. The cost of replacing and installing the cord was estimated at $650. The man also said that five other campers had their cords stolen as well.
