From: John, Angie, Carson, and Ava Kerkebush
Last August, our son Carson was diagnosed with Burkettís Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphocytes. He was just two years old at the time. Since then, he has stayed in the hospital for more than 100 days receiving intensive chemotherapy. He has survived tumor lyses, in which his kidneys were damaged for a short time, and other internal infections along the way. Carson has a 22-month-old sister, Ava, who misses him dearly. Although both children do not understand the circumstances of Carson having cancer, they are handling the situation with maturity and understanding.
We want to thank everyone for the generous donations to our family. We especially want to thank Rocky Rohn, and all the families that hired him to play Santa this past holiday season. Itís only with friends, family, and neighbors like you, that gave our family some extra holiday spirit and keeps our family going strong.
Carson just finished his 6th round of chemotherapy and has three more rounds to go. He is currently cancer free! Thank you on behalf of Carson and our family. We canít thank you enough.
