ADULT SOFTBALL OFFICIAL ROSTERS WERE DUE MAY 14, 2004
You can add or delete to your official roster until June 25th by stopping in or calling the Park Rec. office with the person's name, that person must then come in to sign the roster and fill out the rest of the needed information. Currently our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30-4 p.m. Any questions contact our office at 457-8258.
ADULT SOFTBALL RULE OF THE WEEK-LOCAL
Special Note: All Winona Park Rec. Leagues (Men, Women, Co-Rec., Church & 35 & Over)-A team must have at least eight players present within five minutes of game time (grace period) or the game will be forfeited. The official's time is the official time. (No outs are taken for the ninth, tenth or eleventh positions.)
LAST DAY TO ADD/DELETE TO ADULT SOFTBALL ROSTERS-JUNE 25TH
Please note that the last day to add to or delete from your official adult softball roster is June 25, 2004. You are "stuck" with only those players listed on your roster after that date. Copies of those rosters are then sent to the State ASA-MSF office. Suggestion: You may want to add players to cover for you in case of injury, moving, vacations, etc.
4.8 SKATE PARK-NOW OPEN FOR THE SEASON
The 4.8 Skate Park is now open, weather permitting. The following are the 2004 "New " School year hours:
Boards/Blades: M, T, TH, F-4-9 p.m., Sat.-1-9 p.m., Sun. 5-9 p.m.
Bikes: W-4-9 p.m., Sun.-1-5 p.m.
No School Days & Holidays: Monday-Friday-1-5 p.m. (Boards/Blades only) * 1-5 p.m. hours will be based on staffing availability.
Note: 4.8 Skate Park Summer Hours starting June 7th are:
Boards/Blades: M, W, F-1-9 p.m., T-1-5 p.m., TH-5-9 p.m., Sat.-1-9 p.m., Sun. 5-9 p.m.
Bikes: T-5-9 p.m., TH-1-5 p.m., Sun.-1-5 p.m.
2004 Season Memberships Rates: Single Residents: $50.00, Single Non-Residents: $75.00
Note: Daily admission fees must be paid at the Skate Park. (All Daily Pass cards and memberships must be purchased at the Park Recreation office at City Hall. No daily pass cards or memberships will be sold at the Skate Park. These daily passes and memberships make excellent gifts! Reminder: All first time users must have our waiver signed before entering the Skate Park. If you are not 18 years of age an adult or legal guardian must fill out the waiver form. The following list of equipment must be worn by all while inside the 4.8 Skate Park: helmet, knee/elbow pads, and footwear.
AQUATIC CENTER OPENING
The Bob Welch Aquatic Center will be opening on Friday, June 4th, 2004. Watch for the Pay the Temperature Days: June 7, July 21 & August 8. Also Dollar Days are June 14, 26, July 22 & August 1.
PARK RECREATION PROGRAM REGISTRATION
Registration deadline for all programs is 5 working days prior to the start date of each specific program.

LOST AND FOUND ITEMS
If you have lost any items, such as keys, softball gloves jackets, etc. During our programs or when using our facilities, we may have them in our lost and found box at the Park Rec. office, City Hall. Please stop in to identify the items.
CITY HALL OFFICE HOURS
7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are closed on Saturday and Sundays.
ACTIVE WELLNESS CENTER
Do you want stronger arms for better hugs? Or do you want to age on your own terms, then come to the new Active Wellness Center at the Senior Friendship Center. Memberships available for persons 55 and over. Stop in the Park Recreation Department in City Hall, to purchase your membership or call the Winona Senior Friendship Center at 454-5212 for more information on our Active Wellness Center. As of December 1st, it is time to renew your 2003 membership, stop in the Park Rec. office to get your 2004 membership, please remember to bring your 2003 membership tag with you.
SUMMER ACTIVITIES AT THE REC. CENTERS
Beginning June 7th, join us at the East Rec. Center for daily crafts at 11 a.m. There will be a pool tournaments on Tuesday, June 8th at the East & West Rec. Center. Also June 7-12th, celebrate National Clay week, make clay daily at the East Rec.
