Winona Police
Thursday, Feb. 16
•At 7:05 a.m. a 50-year-old woman reported all four tires on her vehicle, which was parked on the 50 block of Carimona Street, had been slashed during the night.
Friday, February 17
•At 8:33 p.m. police arrested Joshua Charles Hentges, 22, of Winona, for probation violation after he fell off his bicycle and left it in the middle of the road on the 1450 block of East Fifth Street. Hentges had a preliminary breath test of .15 percent.
Saturday, Feb. 18
•At 6:16 p.m. police responded to a report of a 24-year-old man allegedly punching a 41-year-old woman at an address located on the 400 block of East Fifth Street. The man then took $39.50 from the woman’s house and left the scene.
•At 11:36 a.m. police responded to a report of theft at an address located on the 750 block of East Mark Street. A 58-year-old man reported $200 missing from his billfold.
Sunday, February 19
•At 11:53 a.m. police responded to a report of theft at an address located on the 350 block of West Fourth Street. A 23-year-old man reported that between the hours of 3 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. on February 18, someone stole a Playstation player, about 15 PS3 video games and a Samsung phone from his bedroom where he was sleeping. It was reported that between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on February 19, a MacBook Pro laptop computer was stolen. It was reported that the door was not locked and there were no signs of forced entry. There are no suspects at this time.
•At 12:47 a.m. police arrested Eric James Burfeind, 32, of Winona after he refused to return his girlfriend’s child to her. Burfeind was referred to the Winona County Attorney’s office for deprivation of custodial rights.
