The Hiawatha Valley Civil War Round Table will meet on Thursday, March 8, at 7:00 p.m., on the second floor of the History Center, 160 Johnson Street, Winona. The presentation by James Parlow will deal with a relatively unknown chapter of Civil War history, entitled “the greatest unarmed hero” of the Civil War. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota sponsors free support groups for families who have a relative with a mental illness.
