Thursday, April 5
At 2:01 a.m. deputies arrested Katie Lynn Hasleiet, 25, of Rochester, for fourth degree driving while intoxicated after officers observed her make a wide turn, change lanes without signaling and drive on the centerline near Sixth and Laird streets. Hasleiet had a blood alcohol content of .12 percent.
At 12:00 p.m. deputies arrested Ronald Joe Westphal Sr., 53, for second degree assault and reckless handling of firearms after it was reported he was arguing with his wife in his garage on Fremont Street in Lewiston. It was reported that she would not let him take a gun from their garage because the day before he had taken a shotgun and discharged it at the ceiling in their kitchen.
Wed., March 28
At 4:47 p.m. police ticketed Joseph Andrew Holden, 37, of Winona for falsely reporting a crime. Holden reported his vehicle was stolen from a municipal parking lot on Fifth and Center streets. Officers informed Holden that the vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident on Hwy. 61 in Goodview. When officers informed Holden that there were witnesses to the crash, he confessed that the vehicle was never stolen and he was driving during the time of the accident.

At 11:31 a.m. a television was reported stolen from a residence located on the 1150 block of Hwy. 43.
Wednesday, April 4
At 11:12 p.m. police arrested Jesse Lee Mendenhall, 22, of Winona for violation of a domestic assault no contact order.
Thursday, April 5
At 12:53 a.m. police arrested Holly Dinella-Bethke, 19, of Winona, for fourth degree driving while intoxicated, underage drinking and driving, inoperable brake light, and failure to wear a seat belt. Dinella-Bethke admitted to drinking some Mike’s Hard Lemonades from the box on the floor of her vehicle. She had a blood alcohol content of .10 percent.
Friday, April 6
At 1:08 a.m. police arrested Andrew Richard Bickford, 29, of Winona, for obstructing the legal process and obstructing with force after officers observed a fight near Third and Market streets. When officers approached Bickford, he refused to give them his identification after they ask for it multiple times. It was reported that Bickford looked as if he was going to assault the officer so the officer shoved him away. Bickford then allegedly began to fight with the officers. Bickford was cuffed and preceded to yell obscenities from the squad car. Bickford had a preliminary breath test of .13 percent and was transported to Winona Health for detox.
