On Thursday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m., the Hiawatha Valley Civil War Round Table will meet on the second floor of the History Center, 160 Johnson street, Winona. Our speaker will be Phil Tichenor and his topic will be an account of Minnesota prisoners held at the infamous Confederate prisoner-of-war camp “Andersonville.” All are invited and refreshments will be served. Bundles of Love meeting, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 265 Lafayette, Winona, 6:00-9:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed to cut out infant clothing, quilts or knit or crochet.
