Winona County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors will hold their regular monthly board meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, at the Ag Service Center in Lewiston.
The Whitewater Joint Powers Board will meet on Thursday, April 12, at 8:30 a.m. in the Whitewater State Park Visitor’s Center, 19041 Hwy. 74, Altura.
On Thursday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m., the Hiawatha Valley Civil War Round Table will meet on the second floor of the History Center, 160 Johnson street, Winona. Our speaker will be Phil Tichenor and his topic will be an account of Minnesota prisoners held at the infamous Confederate prisoner-of-war camp “Andersonville.” All are invited and refreshments will be served. The Friends of the Library will hold its monthly meeting on April 14, at 10 a.m. in the Art Room at the library. The monthly meeting of the Minnesota City Historical Association will be Saturday, April 14. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota sponsors free support groups for families who have a relative with a mental illness.
