At 11:06 a.m. police ticketed Ryan Joseph Heinlen, 19, of Winona, for tampering with a motor vehicle and criminal damage to property after he threw a brick through a window of a vehicle parked at Sixth and Jefferson Streets. The brick caused $385.01 worth of damage.
Wednesday, April 11
At 11:41 a.m. police ticketed Casey Marie Jonsgaard, 26, of Winona, for violating a harassment order after she gave the finger to a woman who had the order against her.
At 12:37 p.m. police ticketed a 16-year-old male for egging a house located in Knopp Valley.
Thursday, April 12
At 4:22 a.m. police arrested Matthew Robert Kieffer, 31, of Winona, for a probation violation and ticketed hiim for possession of hypodermic needles after police responded to a report of an intruder on the 100 block of East Fifth Street. Officers found Kieffer walking near the area with a shopping bag containing personal items and hypodermic needles.
At 11:17 p.m. police responded to a report of a stolen billfold from a car parked on the 1900 block of Gilmore Avenue. It was reported that the parents of the car owner heard the car door slam and saw an unidentified person running from the car. A billfold, containing miscellaneous identification and gift cards, was taken from the center console.
At 11:56 a.m. police arrested Dwayne Verdell Dyson, 34, of Winona for fifth degree domestic assault harm and fifth degree domestic assault fear after he allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by the face and pushed her down at the Maplewood Townhomes.
Friday, April 13
At 3:01 a.m. police ticketed Brandon Scott Christopherson, 21, of Winona, for public urination after officers observed him urinating on a residence located on the 100 block of East 10th Street.
At 1:13 a.m. police ticketed Erik Meier Borrman, 20, for minor consumption and public urination after officers observed him urinating on Hardee’s. When Borrman noticed the officers, he ran inside and hid in the bathroom.
At 12:57 a.m. police arrested Jack Charles Kluver, 24, of Winona, after he stole a purse near Third and Johnson Streets. It was reported that a woman and her boyfriend were walking down Third Street when Kluver came up behind them and snatched the purse from the female’s hand. Kluver then took off and hid inside the apartments located above Brother’s Bar. Officers watching bar traffic saw the boyfriend banging on the locked door to the apartments. When officers approached him and heard what happened, they secured the exits to the apartment complex. The bar manager of Brother’s came out and let the officers into the building where they found and arrested Kluver. He is being referred to the Winona County Attorney’s office for robbery and obstructing the legal process.
