Correction to police blotter (05/02/2012)

In the April 25, 2012, edition of the Winona Post, a police blotter entry incorrectly identified an individual who was cited during a traffic stop. The entry should have read: At 11:08 a.m., deputies ticketed Danielle Leigh Fernholz, 21, of Arcadia, for driving with a cracked windshield, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving after revocation and driving with an open container of alcohol after she was stopped on Highway 61 near 63rd Street for having a cracked windshield. Officers searched the vehicle after a can of beer was observed in the car.
The April 25 edition incorrectly identified the suspect’s first name as Daniel, rather than Danielle. The Winona Post regrets the error.
