Saturday, June 9
10:00am: Brady’s Bluff Huff and Puff
Welcome summer with a hike up Brady’s Bluff! WE WILL MEET AT THE WEST BRADY’S TRAIL HEAD above the boat landing. This will be a casual hike up a strenuous stair-step trail and water is a must!! Cameras are highly recommended since the view from the top can’t be beat!!
1:30pm: The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Employing the humble BugBox, we will explore several different areas in search of hungry caterpillars and other interesting park dwellers! All ages are welcome to participate and BugBoxes may be borrowed for free or purchased and kept forever for only $2!!
Friday, June 15
9:30pm: Universe in the Park at Merrick
Billions and billions of stars...join University of Wisconsin Astronomy folks for an amazing view of the night sky! Our program will begin at the Merrick State Park Nature Center with a short presentation and then proceed to the prairie for a telescopic view of celestial wonders!
Saturday, June 16
4:00pm: Towering Trees
Take a walk through the diverse forests of Perrot State Park and learn how to identify trees using a basic tree key. No experience is necessary and all ages are welcome. The walk will be leisurely and fairly level.
